10 Steps to Being A Better Wife

1) Take care of yourself turns out that the best thing you can do for your husband is also good for you. Eat healthy foods, maintain good grooming, and exercise regularly. You'll look and feel better, and you'll continue to be the vibrant and attractive woman he fell in love with, no matter your age.

2) Say thank you, often when researchers ask men what they want from their wives, appreciation always makes the list. Everyone likes to be appreciated, so remember to notice the things your husband does—for you, for the kids, for the house—and thank him. You'll put a smile on his face and a little joy in his heart.

3) Keep the romance alive when was the last time you planned a romantic interlude with your husband? If you can't remember, you're way overdue. Be affectionate, write love notes, plan a date, and never stop flirting him. Remind him that you still find him attractive.

4) Let him have "guy time" everyone needs time for themselves—to relax, enjoy a hobby, or socialize with friends. If your husband loves football and you don't, don’t bug him about it. Encourage him to cultivate friendships with other men. He'll enjoy the companionship. Studies show that people with friends tend to live longer, healthier lives.

5) Make your husband a priority with the everyday stresses of work, home, and kids, it's easy to take your husband for granted. Make time for the two of you to reconnect on a regular basis. Take an interest in his work and hobbies. Let him know he's important to you.

6) Don't try to change him are you outgoing, but your husband is shy? Do you like a clean house, but he leaves towels on the floor? Behavioral experts say you can't change others, you can only change yourself and how you react—so look for ways other than nagging to handle these situations. Compromise on social activities by making them shorter. Place a laundry basket in the bathroom. And when he attends a party or puts dirty towels in their proper place, thank him. Positive reinforcement beats nagging every time.

7) Don’t make him guess—tell him what you want. It's easy to assume that the person who lives with you every day also knows you well enough to know what you want. Not true. Most of us view the world through our own needs and desires, so don't be surprised if your husband thinks that what you want is what he would want. If you want something specific—advice, a hug, or a red sweater for your birthday—let him know.

8) Cultivate friends and interests outside your marriage. Once you’re married, it's easy to shrink your social network to revolve around your husband. But no one person can meet all your needs, and it’s too much to expect your husband to be your partner, and your best girlfriend. Make time for friendships outside your marriage. You'll have more fun and bring new energy to your relationship.

9) Let free time be free - Just as you need time to relax and unwind, so does your husband. He may not define it the way you do, though; while your idea of relaxing after work may be talking over a cup if coffee, he may enjoy being quiet for awhile, reading the newspaper, or watching TV. Find a compromise so both your needs are met. And give him time to recharge by not over-scheduling weekends with home projects and shopping.

10) Believe in your husband, and let him know it. Men can display a lot of bravado, but like us they sometimes struggle with low self-confidence and feelings of failure. And because men approach the world as competitors, they sometimes end up feeling like losers. When he comes home, your husband needs to know that the person he values most in the world believes in him—especially when he doesn't believe in himself.

What To Do When You Need A Break From Her

Yes, relationships today are complicated. You might love her, and feel all the nicest things about her. But there are times when you want to be alone, only for a few days if not more. We all need micro-breaks every now and then. Big deal. The problem arises when your girlfriend doesn't accept this, or you fear being called a di** by her friends when they come to know. Guys, first up, listen to this: It's hard to find someone worth loving, so try to be there for your girl at all times, even after a really awful day at work or, when Arsenal loses by 3-0. And if you still need that weekend off from your relationship, follow these simple tricks to avoid all the drama:

1. Get Busy

Work is the b**** most women can still accept in their partner's lives. So if you want some time off, get busy and immerse yourself in your work. When she calls, say you have some massive deadlines to keep up with. That way, you won't be a douche in her mind.

2. Be casual around her

No pampering, no mush, no sweet talk, just talk to her like you would to a normal friend. If she knows you, she'll know that you want to stay casual for a few days, and that you aren't exactly thrilled about having to make grand emotional allowances for your relationship.

3. No hanky panky business

When we say 'taking a break', we don't mean that you start applying all the tricks you learnt from The Player or Jersey Shore and hook up with whoever comes your way. In no circumstance, cheat on her emotionally or physically; because that's seriously something only immature and foolish guys do.

4. If you can't talk, text

Thank God for Whatsapp, now you stay in touch with people even without speaking on the phone. There are good days and bad days, and sometimes we don't feel like chatting up on the phone after coming home from a bad day at work, or after a fight with our parents. In that case, just text her something, so she knows she is, even though slightly, still on your mind.

5. Go to your bros

When else would your bros come in handy? Tired of spending every weekend with; called his friends one weekend, got wasted, and had the time of his life. Sometimes going back to the pack of wolves can really uplift your senses, and you can come back pumped and shift the energy to your relationship too.

5 Reasons why it's Awesome to be Single on Valentine's Day

So, you’ve already seen plenty of reminders on how Valentine’s Day is fast approaching. Here’s another reminder- but this of course is about how it’s awesome to be single on Valentine’s Day.

You don’t have to fake enthusiasm

The truth is that some people aren't really jazzed up about candy hearts or everything in red colour. But, if you have a significant someone, you will have to put up an act, mask your emotions, plaster a smile, woo your girl yet again and fake how Valentine’s Day is your favourite day of the year. Good for you you’re single .

There is no Valentine’s Day awkwardness

You don’t have to worry about whether or not you should buy her a gift, get her roses or make a bold declaration of your feelings. There is no pressure about defining your relationship or taking it to the next step. You don’t have to worry about her expectations or how you aren't meeting up to them.

You won’t get dumped on Valentine’s Day

Obviously, this one is as simple as it gets. A major concern for guys on Valentine’s Day is getting dumped or rejected. No girlfriend means no drama meaning no heartbreak and tears. Isn't life a breeze?

No buying presents

All of those expected grand gestures cost money, and we really don’t live in a world of free lunches anymore. Romantic dinners, flowers, gifts, chocolates, and oh, the champagne- the list is possibly endless and so are their costs. We say count your financial blessings, save money and buy chocolates for yourself at half the rate the day after Valentine’s.

You can roll eyes at other couples

Isn’t it always good to make fun of other poor couples, a majority of whom are also faking their relationship. And the best part is they won’t even notice.

Why It's Okay To Be In Love With More Than One Person

Before we delve deeper into the subject of questioning or judging whether it is okay to be in love with more than one person at a time, let us understand a simple thing.

Well, what exactly is love?
Out of the millions of definitions that each one of us can come up with, one that hold good in every case is the need for freedom. You must love in a way that the person you love feels free. Love is meant to heal, not leave you hurting. It is the emotional need for the other person’s well- being, so much so that it gets linked to your own well-being. But the question remains;
What if we want the well-being of more than one person?
What if we want more than just one person to be free—in every way?

We embrace the idea of being with one person, partially and exclusively, because of two very important factors: firstly, romantic love requires a lot of energy and resources, and it is difficult to gather enough for more than one person. Secondly, our social structure labels this as blasphemy in most cases. Hence, we end up thinking that we are shortchanging either of them.

However, the idea that “if you truly love someone you will not be drawn to others” or there’s only one soulmate is not part of real life. Romantic love begins with attraction—not just in terms of looks, but more so in terms of characteristics of a person. It is very rare that we find that one person with every significant trait that we have always dreamt of in our partner. In cases more than one, we end up liking different set of characteristics in two people. And that’s when both the loves become complementary instead of contradictory.

In an ideal situation, love can never be once in a lifetime experience. You fall in love with different people in different ways at different stages of your life. As long as you make sure that it doesn’t emotionally torment or confuse you, you are good to go. You will go through unique experiences from both sides that come together at once. But this comes with its own unique experience again. While most of us tend to fall for more than just one person at some point in time, we get uncomfortable with the idea of sharing our partners. The idea of sexual and emotional exclusivity is far stronger when the person in question is our partner.

Such kind of emotional dissonance results in moral judgements too, which result in terms such as betrayal and adultery.

So, what do you do when you’re in love with two people? The answer is pretty much subjective. Follow your heart, but don’t neglect your head. Here, we aren’t trying to justify infidelity, but we stated a few facts to believe that you can be in love with more than one person. Love is complicated, and being in love with two people means double the complication. But then, the matters of the heart are complicated. The best thing to do would to be to step back, understand the situation and then decide where is it that you wish to commit.

Reasons why your Relationship might be Doomed

Any new relationship comes with the initial rush and happiness of being with someone and of having found oneself a companion. Yes, a new relationship brings along with it the promise of love and joy, but things might not always be as rosy as you’d have pictured them to be. Sometimes, relationships are doomed well before or soon after they take off. In some cases, the relationship might go downhill after having spent a couple of blissful years together.

Here are a few signs that point to the impending failure of your relationship.

1. One is smarter than the other

The chances of the relationship failing are higher and almost guaranteed if one partner is smarter than the other. In such cases there will be little to talk about after a point and even if you’ll do communicate, there will be this nagging voice in your head who says, ‘she/he is not smart enough to understand what I’m saying’.

2. Immaturity

This one catches up quicker than you can say ‘immature’! Things that you find ‘cute’ and ‘kiddishly sweet’ at one point, will soon begin to feel immature and stupid. The thing about puerile behaviour is that it wears the relationship out much soon and is responsible for taking the fizz out of the bond.

3. Jealousy

The relationship simply won’t last if either or both of you are jealous of one another. The green-eyed monster will wreck havoc on the relationship and be the reason behind its doom.

4. You want different things

This one is perhaps one of the most common reasons behind break-ups. Nothing can save the relationship if both the partners involved want different things from life. And given that the wants are not the same, it does make perfect sense to call off the relationship.

5. Lack of intimacy/attraction

If sparks don’t fly in the bedroom then the relationship is sure to hit rock bottom sooner than later. Also, what’s the point of being in a relationship with someone you’re not attracted to?

6. Too close/too detached from the parents

Being uncomfortably close or ruthlessly detached from parents is never a good thing. If your partner falls in either of these categories, then beware. The relationship will get affected in some way due to the troubled relationship she shares with her parents.

7. Fights

Fights are an obvious part of any/all relationships. But when the fighting gets too much, too often then there is trouble in paradise (or war zone, if you may so call it). Fighting often will cause your stress levels to go up and will certainly harm the relationship, thus signalling its end.

Little Things that Count in Relationship

Ask any man who has been in a relationship and he is sure to tell you that more than the expensive dates and costly gifts , the small gestures and little things made all the difference. To sustain any relationship you don’t need a pocket full of money. What you need is a heart full of love and a brain filled with ideas to woo and be good to her. Keeping this notion in mind, here is the low-down of all the little things that count in a relationship.

1. A good-morning / good-night text

You can make your girl’s day by sending her a lovie-dovie ‘good morning’ text. Nothing makes a girl happier than waking up to a lovely message that wishes her a great day ahead. In case you missed the opportunity to text her in the morning, don’t worry. Send her a good night text and make sure to tuck her in and kiss her good night. She will sleep with the biggest smile on her face and will surely dream of you all night.

2. Drop her home safely

When I make the above point I don't expect you to become her personal chauffeur. What you are expected to be is gentleman who drops his girl home after a date or at least offers to do so. This in no way suggests she cannot go alone, or that you alone can protect her. Simply put, it is a kind and chivalrous thing to do and so you must do it.

3. Be her confidante

One of the most precious facets of a relationship is the ability to share and talk random stuff. Listen and accept your partner’s secrets (be it the heavy and serious ones or the outright dumb and funny ones) and become her confidante. In turn, do make it a point to share yours. By doing so, you will open up the channel of communication and facilitate free-talk and the fostering of trust.

4. Remember dates

Women have a huge problem with a man’s inability to remember dates. You must avoid pissing her off by making an attempt to remember the dates that matter. Store them in your phone calendar or stick post its on your office desk if you must, but do not forget important dates!

5. Share your ambitions

Opening up to your girl and letting her in on your ambitions and career plans makes her feel needed and important. So don’t shy away from discussing work with her. Ask her for suggestions and inputs and she might just surprise you with her ability to solve your work related problems.

How to Apologise After a Fight?

If you fight with your girlfriend / wife, no matter whose fault it is you have to be the one who apologises . This is just the norm of the universe and there is nothing you can do to change it. What you can do however, is to learn how to apologise. A sorry that has no meaning will only make your partner more angry and escalate the fight. Apologising is an art that you need to learn the basics of.

1. Don’t be Aggressive

Being aggressive is the last thing you must do when you have to apologise. Getting aggressive will show that you have not realised your fault and that you are still angry and defensive about what happened. Take a calm approach. Be gentle and be patient.

2. Don’t be too Sweet

One grave mistake you can make is to turn yourself into an overtly sweet boy. Yes, you have to be nice and kind to her. But this does not mean that you keep your self-respect aside and beg her for forgiveness. Be casual about the whole thing and be genuinely nice. Fake flattery won’t take you too far and will prove harmful for the relationship in the long run.

3. Look Apologetic

Now this is one look that you must master.
Whether you are apologetic or not, you need to look like you are really sorry for what happened. If you can master that puppy face and sad eyes look, then the girl is sure to feel obliged to forgive you.

4. Gifts

Gifts are the best and handiest way of saying sorry. Buy her clothes, shoes, or gift vouchers of a luxury cosmetic brand and you have on you the best ‘I am sorry’ gifts. Don’t expect the gifts alone to do your bidding though. You need to compliment this with a genuine feeling of sorry and also verbally apologise. Don’t make the whole ‘saying sorry’ thing about your ego. Sometimes, you have to say sorry because your relationship is more important than trivial fights. Our tip to you is to be genuine, to look sincere and to gently ask for forgiveness. No girl will be able to resist that.

How to be the Perfect Girlfriend

#1. Be present with your Man

Turn your phone off. If you want a deep
connection with your partner, then when you are with your man, Be With Your Man. Make eye contact. Let him know there is no one and nowhere else you would rather be than right there with him.

#2. Love something he is passionate about

Find out something your man is passionate about, learn it, and share it with him. Something that reveals his true nature not something bogus like a TV show. Synergize your love and beat the separation blues.

#3. Be his Best Friend

Men aren’t just interested in their woman for sex. They want her to be a best friend also. Talk and play and have fun with your man. Be the whole package.

#4. Don’t be a Nag

Try to focus on the positive qualities of your man. No one likes to be nagged about what they’re doing wrong all the time. When you compliment them about what they’re doing right, it makes them want to do more things to please you. You attract more flies with honey than vinegar.

#5. Unfriend each other on Social Networks

Be together in real life, don’t cause unnecessary drama by stalking one another on Social Media Forums. Trust your man until he gives you a reason not to — simple as that.

5 Kissing Fails

#1 The Lip Bite

Nothing sexier than pics of someone hot doing a lip bite, but that usually means biting your own lip. Come on, dude, she wanted a kiss not for you to eat her upper lip.

#2 The Third Wheel

Two things babies hate most.
1) Getting their cheeks squeezed by Aunt Sally and,
2) Being used as a pawn between two people that are too scared to kiss each other.

#3 I Love Devour You

This is a simple case of miscommunication. e thought he heard her say she wanted a kiss, but what he really heard was her stomach growling to say “Damn, I’m so hungry I could eat your face.”

#4 The… WTF

The only thing creepier than opening your eyes during a kiss to find the other person staring at you is watching these two kissing with their eyes open, or just watching these two kissing at all.

#5 The French Kiss (with a twist)

A kiss with nothing but tongue… I have to say looking at this image too long made me gag, but more power to them for finding each other. I wonder if it’s hard for them to drink stuff.
